Michael Jackson has been slated by Billy Joel for being cheesy - despite collaborating with the superstar in the past.
Joel said he and a number of stars who worked with Jackson on his 1985 charity hit "We Are The World" were less than impressed with the song - but went along with it anyway.
The singer, who starred alongside Bruce Springsteen, Lionel Richie and Tina Turner while recording the Jackson single - told America's Rolling Stone magazine: "I remember most of us who were there didn't like the song, but nobody would say so."
"I think Cyndi Lauper leaned over to me and said, 'It sounds like a Pepsi commercial.' And I didn't disagree."
Joel also revealed Jackson was applying rouge to his face throughout the recording. He added: "Michael was constantly applying makeup."
