Michael Jackson got a bizarre gift at top London store Harrods yesterday from owner Mohamed Fayed - a laminated scrapbook of baby photos.
The eccentric star - who was visiting Britain for the first time since being acquitted of child abuse charges just four months ago - was mobbed by fans outside the shop before spending over 85,000GBP in a 30-minute spree.
Jackson reserved two watches worth 55,000GBP and 30,000GBP before he and his three children - whose faces were hidden with head scarves - raided the toy department, where they bought life size teddy bears.
A source revealed: "He was only in the store for about 30 minutes. His kids had a fantastic time. They fell in love with this gigantic toy Hummer.
"After Jackson spent thousands of pounds of gifts for them he signed autographs for fans."
Jackson's spokesperson added: "Last time he came to London he went to Hamleys - but he loves the cuddy toys in Harrods."
Jackson is in London producing a charity record for Hurricane Katrina victims.
