The model-and-actress is set to tie the knot with fiance Paul Anderson on August 22 at their Hollywood home and Milla is busy creating her dream gown.
The 33-year-old beauty – who has a 21-month-old daughter, Ever Gabo, with the director – said: "I'm making a dress right now. It's very like, without the negative influence, but it's very like Sharon Tate kind of 1960's mini-dress."
Milla, who has been married twice before, is keen for the nuptials to remain intimate as she doesn't want a big wedding.
She added to People magazine: "Getting married - that's just one more kind of layer on my proverbial cake."
"It's going to be small. It's just going to be family and close friends. And it's at our home and it's going to be kind of like Havana/Cuban, like very California-Spanish feeling. It's going to be nice."
The couple met in 2002, when Paul directed Milla in the first "Resident Evil" and they announced their engagement in March 2003.
