LADY GAGA: I'D RATHER DIE THAN BE SEEN IN FLAT SHOES
Lady Gaga would ''rather die'' than be seen in flat shoes.
The eccentric singer believes pop stars owe it to their fans to always live up to their image and has vowed never to be caught unaware by the paparazzi.
She said: "I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything."
"You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it's destroying showbusiness."
Although she is flattered her fans choose to dress like her, Gaga has urged her followers to find their own sense of style and celebrate their individuality.
She said: "Be whatever you want to be, it's not about emulating me... it's all right to be different."
Despite having a diverse range of celebrity fans - including Helen Mirren, Cheryl Cole and Megan Fox - Gaga doesn't have any famous friends.
She told UK TV talk show host Jonathan Ross: "I didn't speak to anyone at the BRITs. I'm an outcast from the music industry, I don't have any friends in the music business."
"I feel completely detached from the celebrity world, you never see me falling out of nightclubs."
The "Poker Face" hitmaker also claims her commitment to her work stops her meeting men but believes she is too "crazy" for relationships.
She explained: "I don't have time to get to know anybody, I'm single and alone... nobody would put up with my craziness."
