Rihanna Set To Perform Two Performances In Support of Haiti Earthquake
Rihanna has been expected to perform double different performances in support of Haiti earthquake as she was slated to perform for “Hope for Haiti” telethon and a special episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, which is dedicated to the impoverished island.
The “Umbrella” hitmaker is set to do a debut appearance on the television show on January 20. It was also conformed that Rihanna will be delivering her cover version of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song”. On the show, she joins other scheduled guests, including Wyclef Jean and Maxwell.
As for her performance in “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon, Rihanna will fly to London for a special group performance. On the two-hour benefit, she will be seen collaborating with U2’s Bono, The Edge and Jay-Z. It is still unclear what song she will be singing for the hook-up though. The global telethon will air on January 22, at 8 P.M. ET/PT. Robert Pattinson was reported to be the solo presenter in London.
